Frontier Medical Group Honoured with the King’s Award for Enterprise
We’re proud to share some exciting news — Frontier Medical Group has been awarded the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade.
Headquartered in Tredegar, South Wales, Frontier is one of just 197 organisations across the UK to receive this honour in 2025. The award recognises exceptional British businesses that are making a difference on a global scale — and we’re incredibly proud to be among them.
A Royal Recognition of Global Impact
The King’s Awards for Enterprise (formerly known as The Queen’s Awards) are the UK’s highest official honour for business success, now in their 59th year. This award acknowledges Frontier’s growth in international trade and, more importantly, our commitment to improving patient outcomes around the world.
In the past three years, our clinically driven innovations including the Repose® and Toto® product ranges — have reached healthcare providers in over 34 countries, including the USA, Germany, Benelux, Hong Kong, and New Zealand, as well as across the UK. Our solutions are used to help prevent and treat pressure ulcers, support automated patient repositioning, and enhance comfort at home through our new consumer brand, Enora®.
Made for Patients.
With more than 22 years of clinical research behind our products, we’re proud that the innovation at the heart of Frontier is making a real difference to patient care.
“Receiving the King’s Award for Enterprise reaffirms our commitment to improving patient outcomes through smart, clinically validated design,” said David Caldwell, Chief Commercial Officer. “We are proud to have our headquarters here in Wales, and we are delighted to share this win with our teams based both locally and internationally.”
One of the standout innovations contributing to this recognition is the Toto® Cradle, an extension of our widely adopted Toto® Automated Repositioning Platform. Developed in close collaboration with healthcare professionals, Toto Cradle reduces patient migration during repositioning, helping to reduce the burden on clinicians and improve outcomes for immobile patients.
Our Repose® range has already supported over three million patients worldwide, offering a cost-effective, efficient, and clinically proven solution for pressure ulcer prevention in hospitals, care homes, and the community.
Celebrating a Shared Success
This award is not only a celebration of Frontier’s achievements, it’s a recognition of the dedication of our teams in Wales and around the world, and the trust placed in us by healthcare professionals and partners globally.
Thank you for being part of our success. We look forward to continuing to support patients, clinicians, and care providers everywhere with solutions that are innovative, effective, and rooted in real clinical need.
