Indications for use
Repose products provide effective pressure redistribution for all people at risk of developing pressure ulcers, including those assessed as very high risk. Repose is also appropriate for users with pressure related tissue damage – clinical supervision is advised where the damage is severe.
LIMITATIONS FOR USE
Repose is not suitable for the following:
- Persons weighing in excess of 139kg
- Persons with unstable spinal fractures
- Where body shape is such that the person cannot be fully supported by the Repose mattress overlay or cushion
- Repose is suitable for use with bed and trolley side rails subject to the bed or trolley manufacturer’s instructions and appropriate risk assessment
PRECAUTIONS
If deterioration in skin condition is noted, clinical advice should be sought and, if so advised, use of the product discontinued. Avoid direct contact with heat and sharp objects. When deflated, keep away from babies and small children. Keep away from pets.

I could not sit comfortable on any surface, be it armchair, Bed or any other kind of seat. The Ward sister suggested The Repose Pressure Relieving Cushion, which I purchased, and it was immediate relief. I could not praise this item more than to say it saved me a lot of pain, and without it I think I would have gone off my head with pain. I would recommend this Cushion to anyone who knows what it means to have bed sores.

This is the perfect topper for those who have to sit or lay in one place and can not move very well, and have a tendency to get bed sores. It works to alleviate the tenderness and soreness. A good buy and worth the money. Highly recommend.

This cushion has been wonderful. My 89 year old mum suffered from pressure sores but they have now gone completely thanks, mostly, to using this product. It is used daily and is remarkably sturdy.

This cushion was bought for my mum who has developed a problem with her coccyx. It has made her life so much better as she can now sit down in comfort and not in agony. I would recommend the mattress cushion which she also has and it relieves the same problem when in bed. The items are not cheap but worth their weight in gold. They just need topping up with air every about twice a week, which is easy and just like blowing up a balloon.
